At School and At Home, Storyworks Is There With You (and so are we!)

Dear Storyworks teachers,

You all amaze me. These past few weeks, I’ve been in touch with many of you.

Seeing how you are adapting, pivoting, and learning fills me with hope. You are a living, breathing SEL lesson for your kids—a model of growth mindset, of resilience.

Our team is adapting too. As you know, we’ve added many tools for making Storyworks an ideal remote-learning resource. Check out your Digital Resource Guide for ideas on how to use our stories and resources to build connections with your students.

  • Learning Journey Slide Decks: We’ve bundled our stories, videos, and other assets onto easy-to-customize slide decks you can share directly with students. Check out this month’s for our nonfiction, paired texts, and play!

  • Video Read-Alouds: I’m now reading my stories on video and taking your readers behind the scenes into my research and writing process.

  • Digital Lesson Plans: Our lessons come with links to all the resources you need, for both in-school and remote learning.

Sending you all big virtual hugs and deep thanks for all you are doing.
